Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, high-impact retail leader ready to shape the future of Vuori’s rapidly growing store fleet across North America. As Vice President of Stores, you will own the performance, people, and culture of more than 100 locations. Reporting to the SVP of Retail, this roles leads Area Directors and oversees a multi-layered field organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences and strong financial results. This role blends strategic leadership with operational excellence — driving growth, building high-performing teams, and ensuring every store embodies Vuori’s brand, values, and energy. As a key member of the retail leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the fleet, strengthening talent, and elevating the in-store experience as Vuori continues to redefine modern retail.

This leader owns the holistic health of the fleet — driving revenue growth, operational excellence, talent development, and brand consistency — while ensuring stores remain a powerful expression of Vuori’s values and customer promise. The Vice President of Stores is both a strategic operator and an inspiring people leader who builds high-performing team and scalable systems to support rapid growth.

What you'll get to do:

Business & Financial Leadership

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the North America store fleet, including revenue, payroll, expense management, and profitability
  • Drive comp growth, productivity, and contribution through disciplined performance management and strong operational rhythms
  • Identify risks and opportunities across regions, proactively adjusting strategies to deliver financial targets
  • Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability mechanisms across the field organization

Field Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Lead, coach, and develop Area Directors responsible for District Managers and Store Leaders
  • Build a high-performing, engaged, and accountable field leadership structure capable of supporting scale
  • Ensure consistency in execution, communication, and decision-making across all markets
  • Partner with People & Culture to strengthen succession planning, talent pipelines, and leadership capability

People & Culture

  • Champion Vuori’s culture and values throughout the store organization
  • Foster an environment of high performance, inclusion, and continuous development
  • Ensure stores attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent at all levels
  • Reinforce leadership behaviors that create strong engagement, low turnover, and high team effectiveness

Store Performance & Operations

  • Drive operational excellence across the fleet, ensuring stores execute with consistency and efficiency
  • Partner closely with Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Planning to optimize store processes and presentation
  • Remove friction for store teams by improving tools, communication, and workflows
  • Maintain a relentless focus on customer experience, service standards, and brand integrity

Growth & Fleet Strategy

  • Support new store openings, market expansion, and fleet optimization strategies
  • Partner with Real Estate, Store Design, and Construction to ensure successful launches and transitions
  • Evaluate store performance, market dynamics, and organizational needs to inform future growth
  • Ensure the field organization is structured and resourced to support a growing fleet

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and Digital to align store strategies with company priorities
  • Serve as a key voice of the stores, bringing field insights into enterprise decisions
  • Drive alignment between corporate strategy and field execution
  • Strengthen feedback loops between stores and headquarters functions

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • 15+ years of progressive retail leadership experience, including senior oversight of large, multi-region store fleets
  • Proven success leading leaders (multi-layered field organizations) in high-growth retail environments
  • Strong financial acumen with deep experience owning and managing P&Ls
  • Exceptional people leader with a track record of building high-performing, values-driven cultures
  • Highly disciplined operator who balances strategic thinking with executional rigor
  • Strong merchant mindset and customer-first orientation
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving organization
  • Clear, confident communicator capable of influencing at all levels
  • Passion for retail, product, and creating meaningful customer experiences

The salary range for this role is $265,000 per year - $295,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
