Position Title: Vice President/General Manager (VP/GM)
Reports To: President/CEO, Impact Electronic Solutions
Salary Range: $165,500 - $185,000
Location: Onsite - Ventura, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven leader with exceptional expertise in driving operational excellence to achieve significant and measurable improvements across all facets of the business. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in enhancing efficiency, on-time delivery, cost reduction, customer satisfaction, and fostering employee development and engagement. Our Fiber Optic cable assembly business seeks a Vice President and General Manager to drive the business forward and oversee operations. It is the perfect job for a hands-on individual that understands business, operations, engineering, accounting, and can lead and drive a diverse group of people forward.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop and achieve the financial performance goals and business performance goals for the organization.
- Develop and accomplish a strategic plan, 12 months rolling forecast, and strategic framework to align the organization toward desired goals.
- Develop the capabilities and skill levels of executives, managers, supervisors and individual contributors.
- Align tasks, projects and priorities to support the strategic plan and performance goals
- Evaluate the management team's execution of the strategic plan and achievement of performance goals. Provide the management team with feedback and development opportunities.
- Service customers by establishing critical service, operations, and productivity criteria; maintaining state-of-the-art technology; leading commitment to quality service; representing the company to major customers.
- Collaborate with the sales organization to achieve business development goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other Impact ES sites to accomplish the company's strategic growth objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, profitability, quality, on time delivery, sales, and inventory management.
- Promote teamwork by working with and supporting employees
- Manage Cyber Security compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related technical degree
- Minimum of 10 years experience in manufacturing processes management in a senior leadership role
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational improvement frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 requirements
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident as the company is ITAR registered
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- 5 years managing an organization with P&L accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electronics manufacturing environment or similar industry
- Custom build to order production experience
- Medical and/or military product manufacturing experience a plus
