At Strategus, we lead the way in Connected TV (CTV) advertising, offering performance-driven solutions that combine the precision of digital with the reach of traditional TV. Our innovative approach enables brands to effectively target, engage, and convert their audiences through dynamic CTV campaigns. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced sales leader with a strong background in CTV and a proven track record of mentoring and leading regionally dispersed teams to exceed revenue targets. What you'll be doing as a Regional VP of Sales:

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a top-performing sales team across multiple regions, with a focus on hitting CTV-specific revenue goals. Provide mentorship and leadership to ensure each team member achieves peak performance and exceeds individual targets.
  • Support your team in high-profile client meetings, strategic presentations, and complex negotiations to secure renewals and drive new business. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, emphasizing the value of Strategus' CTV solutions to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Lead the team to meet regional sales quotas through ongoing coaching and regular 1-on-1 accountability sessions. Ensure each team member sets clear objectives and monitors progress, driving consistent results across the board.
  • Develop and implement monthly and quarterly sales strategies that align with company-wide goals and focus on achieving regional CTV revenue targets. Partner with leadership to align regional sales strategies with broader company objectives, staying ahead of market trends.
  • Conduct weekly forecast reviews and quarterly performance assessments to keep your team on track and aligned with revenue targets. Monitor team performance metrics and KPIs, ensuring accountability and success.
  • Provide senior management with accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and detailed reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting the region's success. Maintain transparency and ensure data integrity in all sales reporting.
  • Oversee the regional sales funnel, monitoring pipeline quality and managing productivity to ensure sales processes are effective and efficient. Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to optimize performance.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement by recommending and implementing systems that enhance efficiency, drive results, and streamline sales operations.
  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing and operations, to foster collaboration and ensure the regional sales team is fully aligned with company-wide initiatives. Standardize processes and drive a strong, unified company culture across all levels.
  • Collaborate with the EVP of Sales to identify and capitalize on new revenue-generating opportunities within the CTV landscape. Develop and roll out strategic sales plans that capture new business within the region, ensuring a competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales management experience, with a focus on CTV or digital advertising. Demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and managing a regionally dispersed sales team, with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in the $20M+ range.
  • A natural leader who excels in motivating and guiding teams to success while fostering an environment of accountability and high performance.

The target annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000 based on experience, plus commission.
