Join a clean, safety-focused distribution center in Plainfield as a Forklift Operator. This role supports both receiving and picking functions, giving you a mix of hands-on warehouse tasks and forklift operation throughout the day.

2nd Shift Hours: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with an additional 10% shift differential.

Core Responsibilities

  • Operate powered industrial equipment (stand‑up reach truck, dock stocker, order picker, walkie rider)

  • Load and unload trucks and stage product for shipment

  • Perform receiving, picking, and inventory movement throughout the facility

  • Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track and move product

  • Support shipping and other warehouse functions as needed

  • Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards

 

Work Environment

  • Mix of standard warehouse and temperature-controlled areas

  • You are able to work in a refrigerated environment (35–46°F) for extended periods of time, up to a full shift when needed

  • Active, fast-paced setting

  • Overtime available based on business needs

 

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 1+ year experience as a forklift operator (operating a reach truck / stand-up forklift)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment

  • Comfortable operating multiple frequency devices, voice pick equipment, handheld scanners, and other warehouse equipment as directed

  • Basic computer and RF scanner experience

  • Strong attention to detail (product numbers, lot codes, expiration dates)

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

 

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

The base pay range for this position is:

$37,020 - $50,897

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
