Mount Carmel Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Risk Director to lead our facility's risk management efforts and ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. In this leadership role, you will oversee the implementation of a comprehensive risk management program, collaborate with multiple departments to assess and mitigate risks, and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. The Risk Director will lead incident investigations, manage compliance with regulations, and develop proactive strategies to prevent harm and potential liabilities.
Mount Carmel Behavioral Health, a joint partnership between Acadia Healthcare, is an 80-bed hospital that provides acute inpatient and outpatient care for adult men and women, age 18 and above, who have been experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges. We also offer focused care for individuals whose primary psychiatric diagnosis is accompanied by co-occurring addiction.

Plan, organize, direct, and oversee all aspects of risk management activities. Promote a safe environment for the protection of patients, clients, employees, and visitors to the facility in such a manner as to comply with laws, regulations, and regulatory agencies. Identify risks that could potentially result in harm to patients, staff or visitors or lead to litigation or negative media or various forms of loss.

Salary Range: $95,000-$110,000
